Who LHUM Assists

LHUM assists recent and former returning citizens from jails who were found guilty and sentenced to jail time. 

Assistance Process

1. Referrals from jails, local agencies, individuals, and direct contact
2. Intake using LHUM’s intake form to determine needs
3. Refer to local agencies based on needs
4. Offer limited shore term transportation and housing assistance based on LHUM guidelines and available funds
5. Provide ongoing follow up and support

Process for limited housing assistance

1. Based on available funds and available housing
2. Intake using LHUM’s intake form
3. Individual agrees to LHUM written agreement
4. Monitoring and follow up

Religious Counseling/spiritual guidance

1. Religious Counseling and Spiritual Guidance are a vital part of the LHUM Restoration Center Inc’s program. Additionally, individuals may indicate their need LHUM’s intake form or by verbal request. 

Follow up

1. Time period determined by on going services, completion of services, and contact information.
